What You'll Do
The Marketing Associate / Assistant Manager within BCG Korea's Marketing Team is responsible for digital marketing and content operations to effectively deliver BCG's Thought Leadership content to the Korean market and target audiences.
This role focuses on planning and operating content across BCG Korea's owned digital channels and executing digital marketing campaigns. While collaborating with global communications teams to adapt and localize global content is important, the ability to understand the Korean market and industry context, tailor messaging accordingly, and distribute content effectively through the most appropriate channels is equally critical.
The ideal candidate will understand the rapidly evolving digital and media landscape, respond sensitively to content trends and audience consumption behaviors, and continuously seek ways to improve content creation and operational efficiency through a variety of digital tools. We are looking for a self-driven marketer who thrives in this environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Owned Digital Channel Management and Digital Campaign Execution
- Support the operation of BCG Korea's owned digital channels, including KakaoTalk business channels, LinkedIn, and newsletters
- Support the planning and execution of digital campaigns
- Manage campaign schedules, deliverables, and stakeholder communications
- Monitor content and campaign performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Manage the development of digital content and campaigns in collaboration with external agencies and internal stakeholders
2. Content Localization and Marketing Content Development
- Localize global BCG reports, articles, and Thought Leadership content for the Korean market and industry context
- Repackage complex business and industry topics into clear and engaging content from an audience-centric perspective
- Develop marketing content in various formats, including newsletters, one-pagers, presentations, and digital assets
- Create marketing copy tailored to channel characteristics and audience content consumption behaviors
- Utilize generative AI tools such as ChatGPT to draft content, conduct research, and improve work efficiency
3. Media, Industry, and Market Trend Research
- Research trends and derive insights across AI, digital, industry, and market developments
- Monitor major media outlets, industries, and competitors' communications activities
- Conduct trend studies and organize insights based on global BCG content and external reference materials
4. PR and External Communications Support
- Support media relations and external communications activities
- Support publicity initiatives and communications related to content distribution
- Analyze media and external channel characteristics and help develop messaging strategies
5. Marketing Operations and Team Support
- Support marketing operations coordination and administrative activities
- Support development of quarterly AP newsletters and internal marketing update materials
- Collect and analyze digital channel and campaign performance data and prepare performance reports
- Support document management and marketing operations processes
- Support coordination with AP and global marketing teams
What You'll Bring
1. Experience
- 3–5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in digital marketing, content marketing, brand marketing, or B2B marketing
- Experience operating owned digital channels and producing content
- Experience in Professional Services, Technology, Platform, Media, or other digital-based industries is preferred
2. Skills and Capabilities
- Strong marketing writing and storytelling skills
- Understanding of digital channel characteristics, media trends, and audience content consumption behaviors
- Strong interest in media literacy and evolving content trends
- Ability to utilize generative AI and AI productivity tools, including ChatGPT
- Strong presentation development skills (especially storyline structuring)
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to work in a self-driven manner
3. Language
- Native-level Korean communication and writing skills
- English proficiency sufficient for business communication and document comprehension
4. Key Competencies
- Strong learning agility and structured thinking
- High level of self-motivation and execution capability
- Ability to perform detail-oriented work with accuracy and consistency
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Strong sensitivity to changes in digital, media, and content trends
