What You'll Do
As part of BCG's Global IT organization, you will serve as the senior technology leader for a Dynamics 365 Sales implementation in a government cloud environment, accountable for solution direction, delivery governance, and the quality of vendor-executed engineering work. You will balance strategic leadership, platform expertise, and strong execution oversight to deliver a secure, compliant, and scalable CRM capability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead end-to-end technical delivery for a Dynamics 365 Sales implementation, ensuring the solution architecture, configuration, custom development, and integrations align to business goals and enterprise standards
- Oversee multiple vendors and system integrators responsible for design, build, test, deployment, and release activities, holding partners accountable for scope, quality, timelines, and engineering discipline
- Establish governance for solution design decisions, environment strategy, release management, defect triage, risk tracking, and dependency management across internal and vendor teams
- Ensure the implementation is designed for government cloud requirements, including security, compliance, data handling, access controls, and platform constraints relevant to regulated environments
- Drive architecture and design reviews covering Dynamics 365 Sales, Dataverse, Power Platform components, integrations, data migration, reporting, and surrounding enterprise systems
- Partner with product, business, security, architecture, and compliance stakeholders to translate requirements into a delivery roadmap and implementation approach that is both scalable and supportable
- Provide executive-level visibility into delivery health, key decisions, risks, issue remediation, and vendor performance
- Guide cutover, deployment readiness, hypercare, and transition to support, ensuring long-term operability, maintainability, and adoption of the platform
- Define and evolve the long-term CRM platform strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards, future business needs, and technology modernization objectives
What You'll Bring
- 10+ years of experience leading enterprise CRM or customer platform initiatives, including significant hands-on and leadership experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale implementations involving external vendors, system integrators, or blended delivery teams
- Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 Sales architecture, Dataverse, security model, integration patterns, data migration, and environment management
- Experience delivering solutions in a government cloud or similarly regulated environment, with awareness of compliance, security, and operational constraints
- Strong judgment in technical trade-offs, delivery risk management, and issue escalation across complex, multi-stakeholder programs
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams, business stakeholders, senior leadership, and vendor partners
- U.S. citizenship and ability to satisfy government security clearance requirements
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Dynamics 365 in GCC, GCC High, or other FedRAMP-aligned cloud environments
- Experience overseeing implementations subject to FedRAMP, NIST, CUI, or comparable public-sector security standards
- Experience with Azure-based integration patterns, API-led architecture, identity and access management, and DevOps processes supporting enterprise SaaS platforms
- Knowledge of Power Platform capabilities, including Power Automate, model-driven apps, and governance considerations in regulated environments
- Relevant Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, or Solution Architecture
Who You'll Work With
You will partner with Product Owners, Portfolio Leaders, Enterprise Architects, Security and Compliance teams, and senior engineering leaders across BCG. You will influence enterprise CRM strategy, lead cross-functional decision making, and work closely with external delivery partners to ensure successful implementation and long-term platform success.
