What You'll Do

You will join the Istanbul Finance team and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the office's financial operations. As part of the broader EMC (East Mediterranean and Caspian) Finance team, you will contribute to accounting, financial reporting, tax, and control activities that support both local business priorities and BCG's global finance requirements.

In this role, you will work closely with local leadership, regional and global finance teams, external auditors, and professional advisors. You will help ensure high-quality financial reporting, maintain a strong control environment, and support compliance with local statutory requirements and BCG policies. Your work will also contribute to finance transformation initiatives focused on process improvements, reporting enhancements, and technology-enabled solutions.

This position offers broad exposure across accounting, reporting, tax, risk management, and finance operations, providing opportunities to develop deep technical expertise while contributing to projects with regional and global visibility.

You are good at:

  • Managing accounting operations, financial close activities, invoicing, collections, and cash flow processes, ensuring compliance with BCG policies and local accounting regulations;
  • Supporting statutory and group reporting requirements in accordance with local regulations and US GAAP;
  • Performing accounting transactions, reconciliations, and reporting activities within SAP;
  • Analyzing financial results and providing insights and recommendations to finance leadership and stakeholders;
  • Supporting annual audits and coordinating documentation with auditors and external advisors;
  • Preparing financial reports and management information to support business and operational needs;
  • Coordinating tax compliance activities, including transfer pricing documentation and corporate tax reporting;
  • Partnering with global and local stakeholders to ensure compliance with transfer pricing, intercompany, and risk management policies;
  • Maintaining strong internal controls and supporting the implementation of risk management recommendations;
  • Contributing to finance transformation initiatives, process improvements, system enhancements, testing activities, and AI-enabled solutions;
  • Participating in regional and global projects that improve finance operations and reporting effectiveness.

What You'll Bring

  • At least 6-8 years of prior experience in a similar role in a professional services or multinational company environment;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, in Turkish and English;
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics;
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel as well as hands-on experience working with SAP in finance and accounting processes;
  • Familiarity with statutory financial accounting and reporting, and with US GAAP;
  • Experience with reporting, business intelligence, financial planning, data analytics, and AI-enabled tools;
  • Strong analytical and accountability skills, as well as the ability to manage highly sensitive data with strong ownership;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across teams and geographies.
