What You'll Do

As Nordic Content & Communications Senior Specialist(Parental Cover – 12 months), you will play a key role in shaping how BCG’s expertise, insights, and perspectives reach audiences across the Nordics.

Working as part of the Nordic Marketing team, you will be responsible for translating BCG’s expertise, research and perspectives into compelling narratives and content that strengthens BCG’s brand in the Nordics.

You will create and produce content that brings our expertise to life across channels, audiences, and content formats. You will work closely with BCG experts and spokespeople to identify and amplify stories that support strategic marketing priorities.

This is a hands-on content and communications role with a strong focus on storytelling, editorial planning, content creation and expert activation.

The role has two main focus areas:

Content Creation & storytelling
  • Translate complex business topics into engaging content tailored to different audiences, channels, and formats.
  • Create and edit high-quality written and visual content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, video and campaign assets.
  • Apply strong editorial judgement to identify and craft the most compelling stories, messages and content formats for different audiences and channels.
  • Manage end-to-end content production, including collaboration with external agencies and vendors, ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • Use audience insights to optimize content performance and engagement, while identifying opportunities to localize and repurpose content for Nordic audiences.

Content activation & editorial planning
  • Develop content concepts and activation plans that support priority campaigns and marketing initiatives
  • Lead content development for integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Support and help drive the editorial pipeline in close collaboration with colleagues from the Content & Activation team
  • Partner with BCG experts and spokespeople to strengthen their presence across relevant channels and activate authentic expert voices that amplify BCG’s expertise


What You'll Bring

You are a strong storyteller and content creator with excellent editorial judgement. You combine written and visual content skills with the ability to translate complex business topics into engaging, credible narratives. You understand how to work with subject matter experts and create content that reaches audiences, builds credibility and drives engagement. Finally, you are comfortable challenging, refining, and shaping content to maximize audience relevance and impact.

  • 5-7 years of experience in content marketing, communications, social media, or similar supported by a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Strong editorial judgement and experience identifying compelling stories, messages, and content angles from complex topics.
  • Experience creating or directing visual content for digital channels, including social assets, video content, and campaign materials.
  • Experience working with subject matter experts, executives, or spokespeople to develop and amplify expert-led content.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder collaboration skills
  • Experience from professional services, B2B marketing, agency, media, publishing, or another expertise-led environment where credibility and quality of content are critical.


Who You'll Work With

You will be part of the Nordic Marketing team and work closely with colleagues across the Content & Activation team and the wider Nordic marketing organization. You will also collaborate with internal subject matter experts, Nordic spokespeople, freelancers, agencies, and other external partners to deliver high-quality content and integrated marketing campaigns.
