What You'll Do
The EP&P Operations Analyst will support the Global Procurement organization by maintaining accurate and complete supplier data across BCG's systems and platforms. Reporting to the EP&P Manager, Supplier Information Management, you will ensure master data integrity and drive data governance practices that underpin procurement efficiency and compliance.
- Own end-to-end supplier master data management — creation, updates, and deactivation — across procurement and finance systems (e.g., Coupa, SAP, Oracle).
- Perform regular data quality audits and validations to ensure supplier records meet accuracy, completeness, and compliance standards.
- Manage incoming data requests via ticketing systems, adhering to SLAs and escalating exceptions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Legal, and Compliance teams to collect and maintain required supplier documentation (tax, banking, regulatory, and legal records).
- Support governance mechanisms for supplier onboarding, including due diligence checks, risk attribute collection, and data classification.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of data management processes, tools, and documentation by identifying gaps and proposing practical solutions.
- Prepare periodic reports and dashboards on data health metrics for internal stakeholders.
- Act as a point of contact for supplier data inquiries from internal teams across time zones and geographies.
What You'll Bring
- University degree or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in data management, master data governance, procurement operations, or a shared services environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage SLAs and maintain high data quality standards under volume and time pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with experience supporting multi-geography teams across time zones.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation) are an advantage.
- Experience with procurement or ERP platforms (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, Oracle, SAP) is strongly preferred.
- Exposure to data governance principles, vendor lifecycle management, or compliance/risk documentation processes is a plus.
Who You'll Work With
BCG spends $1.3B on goods and services across the firm globally. At its core, Procurement is accountable for ensuring that BCG is supplied with goods and services that meet business requirements, drive value and at best whole life cost to BCG.
The functional procurement team at BCG is a healthy, yet nascent operating function that has generated material savings to BCG over the past 5 years. Over the past 18 months, we've embarked upon a procurement transformation to define and implement strategies, organization, systems and policies to create a sustainable operating model. This model should maximize value from our suppliers, mitigate risk and meet savings targets. BCG is a highly matrixed firm where purchasing decisions are often taken at the local level, therefore this transformation will need to be carried out with high levels of stakeholder engagement, alignment and collaboration.
The BCG Global Procurement function is currently made up of more than 40 procurement professionals located in London, New Delhi, Boston and Munich. This Procurement Operations Associate position will be supporting the team on a strategic and operational level.
Scope of work will be global, regional as well as local, requiring relationship building, sell-in capabilities and sensitivity to local requirements. The individual taking on this challenge must possess a very high level of self-motivation/drive, persistency, resourcefulness and a willingness to facilitate change.
