What You'll Do
The BCG Korea Marketing & Communications Intern is a position designed to support BCG's Thought Leadership and brand to be effectively communicated to the Korean market and key business audiences through various marketing and communications activities, including media PR, digital marketing, and events targeting clients and alumni. The intern will support diverse marketing initiatives across industries such as industrials, consumer, financial services & insurance, as well as key functional areas including AI & digital, marketing, sales, and corporate finance strategy, and will be part of the process through which BCG's global insights and Thought Leadership are disseminated in the domestic market. Key responsibilities include market and media research, translation/editing and localization of global content, digital marketing and media PR support, event and campaign management, and team operations and administrative support — providing broad hands-on experience in B2B Marketing & Communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Market & Media Research and Thought Leadership Dissemination Support
- Research on domestic and international industry and market trends, and media coverage
- Background research support for media PR, digital content development, and event planning & operations
Global Content Translation, Editing, and Localization Support
- Support for Korean translation, editing, and localization of BCG global reports, articles, and Thought Leadership content
- Support for Korean version production of BCG global reports and content quality assurance (QA)
Digital Marketing Channel Operations Support
- Support for BCG Korea's digital platform and owned channel operations
- Content creation, uploading, distribution, and archiving for LinkedIn and Newsletter channels
Marketing Campaign and Event Execution Support
- Support for event and campaign planning, operations, and execution targeting clients and alumni
- Support for client and alumni CRM management and data updates
Marketing Operations and Team Admin Support
- Administrative and coordination support for marketing team operations and project execution
- Team operations support including document, data, and marketing asset management
What You'll Bring
- Understanding of domestic and international legacy media and digital media, and media literacy
- Interest in content trends and B2B marketing
- Research skills to investigate and analyze industry and market trends and synthesize key insights
- Ability to accurately comprehend English materials and restructure them into natural Korean content
- Interest in digital content and social media channel operations
- Proficiency in generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) and AI productivity tools
- Basic document creation and data management skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Communication skills to proactively carry out tasks and collaborate smoothly with diverse stakeholders
- Experience in marketing, PR (public relations), or communications
- Experience in content planning & production or digital channel operations
- Native-level Korean communication and writing skills
- English reading proficiency sufficient to accurately understand English materials and translate/edit them into Korean content
