- Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap that balances near-term delivery commitments with longer-term transformation of the service model.
- Identify and champion opportunities to evolve the request, entitlement, and software install experience — driving measurable improvements in colleague satisfaction, speed, and self-sufficiency.
- Translate business strategy and user research into well-prioritised product outcomes, ensuring squads understand the ‘why’ behind what they are building and can clearly articulate the value delivered to users.
Backlog Ownership & Delivery
- Own and maintain a healthy, well-groomed product backlog for your Agile squad with clear acceptance criteria and prioritisation rationale.
- Act as the primary decision-maker on scope, sequencing, and trade-offs — balancing user value, technical constraints, risk, and business priority.
- Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews; be an active, present partner to your squads.
- Define qualitative and quantitative measures of success for features and epics; track and communicate outcomes.

- Anticipate and capture demand from across the business to inform planning and roadmap sequencing.
- Provide clear, concise updates on product progress, risks, and decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Serve as the authoritative voice of the BCG user — deeply understand user needs through research, feedback loops, and direct engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with product teams and senior stakeholders, proactively managing expectations, communicating progress, and resolving competing priorities.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- AI and automation first — identify and drive improvements to product processes, tooling, and ways of working for the squad and Managed Service Provider
- Champion a culture of experimentation and learning — run retrospectives, capture insights, and embed learnings into future cycles.
