What You'll Do
This role sits at the intersection of people analytics and AI-enabled workflow automation, while also supporting selected strategic People initiatives across BCG’s Asia Pacific region.
You will own core regional people reporting and analytics, while working closely with your manager on high-priority initiatives such as People Survey transformation, AP AI Boost Project, Talent 2030 and more. You will own defined analyses and project workstreams—from structuring the problem and conducting analysis to synthesizing insights and preparing materials for senior stakeholders.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical rigor with structured problem solving, curiosity and a hands-on approach to using AI tools to improve how work gets done.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
1. People Analytics and Reporting
Monthly People Metrics Reporting
- Own the end-to-end delivery of monthly capacity and attrition analyses, from processing source data to identifying key trends, surfacing discrepancies against the global dashboard, investigating underlying drivers, and aligning on the appropriate approach to resolution
- Coordinate inputs across AP people teams, manage release timelines, and ensure the monthly reporting is delivered accurately and on schedule
- Proactively translate analysis into clear insights and potential next steps, aligning with senior stakeholders where appropriate
People Survey and Pulse Survey
- Work closely with your manager to shape the design and execution of AP’s new People Survey analytics approach under the updated global survey tools, including identifying opportunities to enhance analysis and reporting with AI
- Develop targeted data cuts, trend views and follow-up analyses to uncover underlying drivers and support interpretation and communication of People Survey results in AP
- Coordinate with the Global People Team on survey administration; Manage analytical requests from AP systems as part of the survey process (scope may evolve as new tools are rolled out)
Planning Cycle Support
- Act as PoC for People Function post planning process, obtaining plan data from Finance and coordinating across People and Finance stakeholders on data requests and validation
- Analyze how capacity and workforce composition evolve across the planning cycle, highlighting key movements and implications for the AP People function
Other Regular/ad-hoc Reporting
- Own other recurring analytical reports, including BST ratios analysis, leverage analysis, APPT Scorecard, attrition analysis, FTE analysis and CDA survey analysis; take on additional ad-hoc or regular analyses as business priorities evolve
- With oversight from your manager, prepare senior-ready materials on attrition, recruiting and capacity for leadership discussions, and respond to follow-up questions through targeted analysis
2. AI Workflow and Automation
- Build and maintain AI-enabled reporting workflows, including automating recurring reports and dashboards developed in collaboration with your manager
- Proactively identify opportunities to simplify and automate recurring AP People function processes; propose and execute improvements under the guidance of your manager
- Document and share your approaches with the AP People team and regional office colleagues, enabling broader adoption and continuous improvement
3. Strategic People Projects Support
- Provide analytical and project support across strategic regional People initiatives, including REACHES (AP HR transformation), AI Boost Talent Pillar (AP program to accelerate AI upskilling), Talent 2030, Strategic Workforce planning, as well as other projects that emerge over time
- Own defined analyses or project workstreams with oversight from your manager, from structuring the question and developing the approach to synthesizing findings into clear, senior-ready outputs
4. Reporting Operations and Data Quality
- Maintain clear documentation of data sources, definitions, methodologies and reporting processes to ensure continuity, consistency and transparency across People Analytics
- Proactively identify and resolve data discrepancies, working with source teams to investigate root causes and implement sustainable solutions
5. Network
- Proactively engage with BCG’s global analytics team to stay current on available tools, reporting standards and best practices, while surfacing AP-specific needs and perspectives
- Build working relationships with people analytics peers in EMESA and NAMR to share approaches and align on common methodologies where relevant
- Maintain strong relationship with BCG’s system HR teams, particularly in the context of people survey coordination and AP data analysis requests
What You'll Bring
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Human Resources, or related disciplines combined with 4 to 6 years working experience; Previous experience in consulting, analytics, or other structured problem-solving environment is a strong plus
- Hands-on experience using AI coding tools (such as Claude Code) alongside Python and Power Automate to build, maintain and improve automated reporting workflows. Familiarity with HR data and Workday is a plus.
- Strong analytical acumen and rigor about data accuracy, with a habit of cross-checking and triangulating figures before releasing outputs to stakeholders. Strong creative problem solving with ability to craft tailored solutions to meet the wide range of business needs.
- Strong ownership mindset and attention to detail; able to manage multiple workstreams, meet deadlines and flag issues proactively. Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-moving environment with direction from a senior manager.
Who You'll Work With
You will report into the Asia Pacific (AP) Consulting (CT) Performance & Change Senior Manager and be part of the AP People Team.
You will work closely with your manager on a day-to-day basis. You will also work directly on requests from senior People function leaders including the AP Consulting People Team Executive Director, the AP CHRO and AP People Chair. Beyond this, you will interact with peers across the AP People function (recruiting, career development & staffing, Teaming, etc.), AP Finance function, EMESA/NAMR People function and BCG’s global analytics teams
