What You'll Do

This role offers the opportunity to leverage strong technical and programming foundations while developing deep expertise in end-to-end survey programming, testing, deployment, and execution.


We are seeking exceptional candidates with knowledge and passion to fill an Analyst position in the CCI Operations & Analytics team. This team (CCI Ops) is part of the Center for Customer Insights team and aligned to Global Advantage Practice Area. The team is an integral part of BCG’s strategy to deliver superior value and sustained impact to clients.


CCI Ops specializes in supporting BCG case teams on client projects that include generating insights from primary research data (surveys). The team has capabilities that enable it to engage across all elements of the primary research value chain with both BCG case teams as well as external service providers. Special emphasis is placed on the application of advanced analytics to survey data, providing key outputs that drive critical business insights. Additionally, the team leverages the latest tech. innovation to build models, simulations, and visualizations to maximize usability and impact of these analytics outputs.


At CCI Ops, you will be joining a highly innovative team with an entrepreneurial mindset. You will be working directly with BCG’s core consulting business in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment. What You'll Bring

You Bring (Qualifications & Experience)

Education
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field; with demonstrated high academic achievement.


Experience & Technical Skills

• 1–2 years of relevant work experience in primary market research survey programming field.
• Hands-on experience programming surveys using platforms such as Verint, Inc Query, Qualtrics, Sawtooth, or similar tools.
• Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or jQuery for customizing survey themes, layouts, validations, and respondent experience.
• Experience configuring survey logic, routing, quotas, randomization, piping, validations, generic and respondent-specific links, and survey redirects.
• Experience conducting end-to-end survey testing and quality assurance, including checks for logic, pathing, quotas, links, content accuracy, and usability across devices and browsers.
• Ability to troubleshoot programming constraints and recommend practical alternative solutions while maintaining the intent of the questionnaire.
• Exposure to live quota-monitoring dashboards, API integrations, and data-privacy requirements such as GDPR is beneficial.
• Experience programming MaxDiff, CBC, or conjoint surveys using Sawtooth, including prohibitions and design-related testing, is an advantage.


Added Value Skills


• Working knowledge of Python, including the ability to use libraries such as Pandas for data handling and to develop scripts that automate survey programming, testing, quality assurance, and reporting activities.
• Exposure to Generative AI and large language models, including prompt engineering and the use of tools such as OpenAI, Claude, or similar platforms.
• Ability to identify and experiment with GenAI use cases across the survey lifecycle, such as questionnaire review, survey logic validation, test-case generation, data-quality checks, and process documentation.

Analytical Mindset & Communication


• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to interpret questionnaires, understand complex survey logic, identify potential programming issues, and recommend practical solutions.
• Detail-oriented approach to survey programming and quality assurance, with a focus on accuracy, respondent experience, and timely delivery.
• Willingness to build knowledge of survey design, market research methodologies, data-quality principles, and advanced survey techniques such as MaxDiff and conjoint.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners while maintaining high standards of professionalism and service excellence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical constraints, programming decisions, and project updates clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to support efficient survey programming, testing, deployment, and execution. Your work will help generate accurate and reliable primary research data, enabling data-driven consumer insights and strategic decision-making for our clients.

Working with BCG case teams and topic leaders in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, supporting them across different stages of the market research/survey management lifecycle.

  • Understanding business objectives and context of associated market research
  • Fast learner. Able to grasp and apply market research knowledge to interpret and discuss elements of survey design (sampling, quotas, methodology, questionnaire structure etc.)
  • Team player. Able to collaborate with survey programmers, third-party vendors, and partners for implementation of online surveys and data collection
  • Eye for detail. Able to engage on quality review of online surveys before launch, data handling and management capabilities to validate and clean data prior to further processing
  • Sound knowledge of statistics and application of statistical theoretical concepts (univariate, bivariate and multivariate methods). Able to quickly learn and use specialized survey/data analysis tools such as SPSS, Sawtooth, etc. to deliver practical data analytics outcomes
  • Strong data interpretation capabilities. Learn and use Alteryx and advanced Excel for survey data transformation and processing as well as for creation of formula/macro driven models and simulators
  • Knack for graphical representation of analytical outputs. Learn and use visualization tools including PowerPoint, Tableau and Market Sight to represent analytics output in the most appealing and insightful manner
  • Working with virtual, multicultural global teams, requiring cross-time zone engagement
  • Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, dealing with ambiguity and unstructured situations
  • Multi-tasking including networking, relationship building as well as informal Business development
