The location of your normal place of work will be the Johannesburg office in No. 5 Parks Boulevard, Oxford Parks, Dunkeld.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Provide exceptional administrative support to the consulting team, enabling Managing Directors & Partners and other senior stakeholders to meet their client and internal commitments effectively. Deliver high-quality executive support while collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and outstanding client experience.

  • Understand Managing Directors' & Partners' priorities to effectively manage schedules and optimize their time.
  • Manage complex calendars, coordinating internal and external meetings while balancing competing priorities.
  • Proactively coordinate domestic and international travel, identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts.
  • Build strong working relationships with external clients and their executive assistants to facilitate efficient communication and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with consulting case teams to coordinate meetings, travel, and information flow.
  • Support the proposal submission process, including vendor registration, preparation of administrative documentation, printing, copying, binding, and coordinating client pitch meetings.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings by arranging virtual meetings, reserving meeting rooms, and organizing catering and meeting logistics.
  • Provide administrative support for Practice Area and office events, including invitation management, response tracking, venue coordination, catering, and on-site support.
  • Maintain and organize online administrative systems and shared resources.
  • Manage and maintain client contact information and relationship mapping tools.
  • Prepare and submit weekly timesheets and expense reports accurately and on time.
  • Ensure administrative processes comply with BCG policies and quality standards.
  • Provide general administrative support and assist with office initiatives as required.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Executive Assistant team to share knowledge, provide backup support, and contribute to a positive team environment.

Additional Areas of responsibility including but not limited to:

  • Participate in office initiatives and administrative projects as assigned.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative processes and ways of working.
  • Support colleagues during periods of high workload or absence to ensure seamless service delivery.

During your work with BCG you will be required to be flexible and to undertake all activities normally and reasonably associated with your role. You may be required to undertake activities in addition to or instead of these activities.
