What You'll Do

As an Associate Legal Counsel – Commercial Contracting, you will be an integral member of BCG's Global Legal Team, supporting commercial contracting activities across Morocco and the Africa System. You will work closely with experienced legal colleagues and business stakeholders to provide practical legal advice, manage contractual risk, and help enable commercial outcomes while protecting BCG's interests.
In this role, you will progressively build expertise across a broad range of commercial legal matters while contributing to continuous improvement of contracting processes and Legal Team initiatives.

You will:

  • Support the review, drafting and negotiation of a broad range of commercial agreements, including client agreements, vendor contracts, master services agreements, licensing agreements, non-disclosure agreements and partnership agreements.
  • Identify legal and commercial risks in contracts and recommend practical solutions with guidance on more complex matters.
  • Collaborate with Finance and business teams to support the contract management process and facilitate timely execution of agreements.
  • Apply BCG contracting standards, policies and risk management practices throughout the contracting lifecycle.
  • Support Legal Team initiatives to improve contracting processes, templates and operational efficiency.
  • Provide legal support across a range of commercial matters, including technology transactions, intellectual property, data protection, competition law and other business legal issues, escalating complex matters where appropriate.
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues across Legal, Finance and the business to support commercial objectives.
  • Contribute to Legal Team knowledge sharing, documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
    Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Remaining adaptable and solutions-oriented in a fast-paced environment.


What You'll Bring

  • Qualified lawyer.
  • 2–4 years of commercial contracting experience, preferably with international exposure.
  • Experience at a reputable law firm preferred; prior in-house experience is an advantage.
  • Experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in French and English; Arabic would be an advantage.

A variety of cohorts and functions across the company, including senior leadership. Members of the BCG Global Legal team, Finance and the Partnership. You will report into the Commercial group within the Legal Team.
