Your priorities will include completing the team build-out, maturing key operational processes, and establishing clear ways of working that support global coverage, effective collaboration, and consistent delivery. You will lead and develop a global organization of approximately 36 cybersecurity professionals while setting a clear direction for the continued evolution of the capability.
- Set the strategy, priorities, and performance expectations for global Cybersecurity Operations.
- Bring monitoring, detection, response, recovery, vulnerability management, and offensive security into a cohesive service.
- Develop an integrated, end-to-end Security Operations Center capability with clear ownership, handoffs, and service standards.
- Serve as senior incident commander during major cyber events, coordinating response, recovery, and executive escalation.
- Oversee threat monitoring, detection engineering, threat hunting, triage, containment, recovery, and post-incident review.
- Advance attack surface management, vulnerability reduction, offensive security, and adversarial testing.
- Advance detection engineering through modern approaches including AI/ML-driven analytics, to improve signal quality and reduce time to detect.
- Strengthen security tooling, automation, telemetry, and integration across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
- Lead cyber crisis preparedness through response playbooks, exercises, cross-functional coordination, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring
- At least 15 years of progressive cybersecurity leadership experience in complex, global organizations.
- Deep expertise across SOC, incident response, detection, vulnerability, offensive, and cloud security.
- Proven success building and maturing globally distributed cybersecurity operations capabilities.
- Experience leading large, multidisciplinary teams in consulting or similarly complex multinational environments.
- Calm, decisive leadership during major incidents and high-pressure executive situations.
- Ability to set strategy, strengthen governance, and improve performance at enterprise scale.
- CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or equivalent credentials are advantageous, not required.
Who You'll Work With
You will report to BCG's CISO and work closely with colleagues across IT, Legal, Privacy, and Communications. You will lead a globally distributed cybersecurity organization and partner across functions to strengthen operational readiness, coordinate major incident response, and improve BCG's resilience. The team works in a collaborative, high-trust environment where clear decision-making, shared accountability, and continuous improvement are essential.
