What You'll Do
As a Global IT Platform Engineer Senior Specialist, you will support and evolve enterprise planning capabilities across Oracle EPM Cloud platforms. You will work closely with Finance, Data Engineering, and global technology teams to deliver scalable planning solutions that improve forecasting accuracy, operational efficiency, and business decision-making.
In this role, you will combine platform engineering expertise with strong analytical problem-solving capabilities to support planning operations, optimize system performance, and strengthen data integrity across enterprise platforms. You will contribute to ongoing platform modernization initiatives while helping teams deliver reliable, high-quality planning and reporting outcomes.
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with 5–7 years of experience to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integrations. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on expertise in SQL and Snowflake, with proven experience delivering at least 1–2 end-to-end integration projects. Exposure to orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, cloud-native ETL services like AWS Glue, and working knowledge of APIs will be a strong plus.
- Design, optimize, and maintain complex, high-performance SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations to enable robust validations and large-scale integrations with planning systems.
- Maintain Snowflake objects for month end data load processing.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across pipelines and platforms. - Partner with Finance, Data Engineering, and IT teams to improve planning operations and data quality.
- Contribute to automation, continuous improvement, and scalable platform enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Data Engineering, and IT.
- Integrate data between EPM Cloud and source systems using SQL and Snowflake.
What You'll Bring
- 5 – 7 years of Data Engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in SQL including query optimization, performance tuning, and complex joins / transformations.
- Advanced SQL development and query optimization capabilities
- Hands-on Snowflake experience supporting enterprise-scale data environments
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices for data pipeline deployment.
- Ability to analyze complex datasets and maintain high data accuracy
- Strong communication skills
Who You'll Work With
You will work within BCG’s global technology ecosystem, partnering closely with Finance, enterprise platform teams, Data Engineering, and IT stakeholders across regions. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to support planning operations, improve platform reliability, and deliver scalable enterprise solutions.
You will also work alongside technical specialists and business partners to strengthen planning capabilities, improve reporting quality, and support ongoing platform modernization initiatives in a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Helpful Experience :-
- Develop and manage ETL/ELT workflows using tools such as Apache Airflow and AWS Glue.
- Good knowledge of APIs for data ingestion and system-to-system communication.
- Exposure to scripting languages such as Python and Groovy scripting for data engineering tasks.
- Experience of working in Agile delivery environments.
