About the Role:

We are looking for a CS/EE engineer with a strong software development experience in algorithms development/computer graphics/GUI, Usability to join our exciting and fast-paced development team.

A successful candidate who joins us, will be involved in all aspects of the system's software, including GUI, 3D Graphics and algorithms development. They will also interface with other teams, such as systems engineering, hardware engineering and technicians from the field, to develop meaningful tools for the Rhythmia Mapping System.

The Rhythmia Mapping System centers around a real-time virtual world of the human heart. As a physician probes the heart with a catheter, the system generates an accurate anatomical model of the chamber. High-performance rendering and algorithmic techniques are vital to creating a stunning view and providing the physician with instant feedback.


Our tools include C++, OpenGL, GLSL, OpenCL, Qt, and Linux.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and release innovative high performance medical device software.
  • Provide technical leadership to the team in software design and best in class software development methodologies and practices.
  • Solve difficult problems and always strive to make things better and achieve engineering excellence.
  • Partner with other teams including marketing, systems engineering, QA, hardware and regulatory to understand requirements and bring the best solutions forward.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Software development areas
  • Strong experience in Programing Languages, like C++, Python or MATLAB.
  • Knowledge in Linux/Unix and PowerShell.
  • Desirable English Level B2+ (80–89%)
  • Expertise in developing software using Scrum methodology.
  • Experience with having delivered successful mission critical products.
  • Strong in solving complex problems and demonstrated ability to adapt, proactive and a positive influence on the rest of the team.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to the target audience.
  • In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with designing and implementing medical device software.
  • Experience working with third-party C++ libraries such as STL, Qt, Boost.
  • Experience developing systems with intuitive GUI and/or 2D/3D Computer graphics with shading languages.
  • Experience writing SW for embedded systems that interface with sensors.
