About this role:
The BSC Development Manager has leadership responsibility for the Range Division Associate Territory Manager team which includes the sourcing, onboarding, development, and performance of talent. The Development Manager collaborates with the Divisional Director of Sales and Region Managers to identify opportunities for the ATMs to maximize growth through innovative and strategic penetration. The strategic intent of the Development Manager role is to accelerate top talent into other more senior and complex leadership positions within the Division. The Development Manager will be responsible for the leadership of Associate Territory Managers in the Range Division. Candidate can be located in Colorado, Missouri, Minnesota, or any major geography within the Range Division.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborates with the Division Director of Sales, Region Managers and Sales Training on various strategic projects that will influence the Endoscopy business and drive divisional revenue.
- Ensures the ATMs participation in TM Summits to identify opportunities aligned to regional priorities including clinical needs-based education and case coverage.
- Works with Director of Sales to plan division specific objectives including the coordination of launch cadence and direction within the ATM organization.
- Works closely with Development Management team and the marketing function to identify strategic portfolio opportunities.
- Conducts regular field assessments, coaching and development activities with the Division ATMs and actively mentors tenured TMs.
- Coaches sales representatives on selling skills and targeting of accounts. Shares personal selling experiences in a way that motivates others and teaches applicable skills.
- Actively coaches the ATMs in the determination of market potential and monitors sales performance on an ongoing basis.
- Drives adoption of Sales Force technology to ensure opportunities are identified and advanced within assigned accounts.
- Identifies and leads strategic diversity and inclusion projects to expand diverse talent pools.
- Work with sales training leadership to assess division training needs including clinical, business acumen and challenger development.
- Actively accelerates the ATM development to ensure post ATM/TM Fast Start Ownership.
- Plans and controls expenses to ensure sales objectives are met within budget.
- Ensures all meeting and training materials meet legal requirements.
- Maintains knowledge of the industry and the competition to modify and prioritize sales training strategies.
- Maintains the skills and knowledge to sell the entire product line to all applicable buying influences and can differentiate each product line against the competitors’ products.
Required Qualifications:
- MA/MS in business discipline or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum 5 years successful sales experience, documented success in sales and/or sales and marketing.
- Proven sales success/management success through sales rankings
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organization.
- Strong project management experience
- Must possess the ability to determine and set direction.
- Must be able to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Must be energetic, enthusiastic, determined and goal oriented.
- Ability to grasp technical content.
- Results-oriented team player
- Excels in fast-paced, competitive environment.
- Must possess creativity and the ability to think outside the conventional wisdom of a current situation to get a mutually beneficial outcome with those involved.
The anticipated annualized base salary for this full-time position will be $115,000 plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com. Actual compensation will be commensurate with a demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
