EMEA Senior Customer Education Specialist Electrophysiology (m/f/d)
Purpose
Boston Scientific is committed to develop and lead high quality education programs for both employees and medical professionals.
The EP franchise represents the growing segment of the Rhythm Management division and Training and Education for both employees and Health Care professionals is key to support technology adoption while ensuring patient safety.
The core objective of this role is to plan, design, develop, and coordinate 3D Mapping and FARAVIEW technology in-house training programs for field support personnel and customers. Obtains information needed to prepare in-house training programs; prepares training materials; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids. Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. May utilize trainers with technical expertise. Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.
Location: The role can be based in any of the Boston Scientific EMEA HUB locations (Germany, France, Spain, Italy, UK)
Key Responsibilities

Manage internal and customer education programs through implementation of strategy, delivery of objectives and execution of logistics while effectively working with stakeholders.

Define optimal delivery methods for each learner and curriculum developing blended approach programmes that meet learning objectives. Understand and design blended programmes with the appropriate mix of remote, F2F and e-learning delivery.

Collaborate on the development of our current digital platforms and Learning Management System defining needs and utilizing the platforms in the different curriculums

Design, develop and track e-learning programmes to complement blended curriculums assuring application of best practices and learnings across the Med Ed Team.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, internal and external, serving as a liaison between key educational opinion leaders and Boston Scientific programs.

Communicate proactively with stakeholders and stablish strong networking in the organization.

Identify, partner with and manage appropriate resources (i.e., vendor relationships, other internal departments etc.) to ensure that meetings/events meet objectives.

Define, track and maintain budgets while ensuring cost saving measures, understand implications on general business management.

Develop program metrics aligned with learning objectives defined for each program and curriculum

Evaluate program impact, reassess objectives and outcomes, and plan for continuous improvement.

Keep abreast of industry standards and trends as related to responsibility and ensure compliance to governing agency guidelines.

Create a professional development plan with the partnership of direct supervisor.

Ensures awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific.

Leverages tools and programs across the organization

Ensure consistency in Boston Scientific branding guidelines.
Profile Requirements

Minimum 7 years’ experience in Medical Education/ Customer programs/ Field support
-
EP, 3D mapping, PFA and Single Shot field support experience and expertise is required for this role (minimum 3 years)

Training and Medical Education background will be highly valued for the role (2 years)

Experience in developing e-learning programmes and digital content will be highly valued

University degree or equivalent required with solid expertise in Rhythm Management and EP (disease, product, clinical)
