About the Role:
The Customer Experience Marketing Manager - AI, Data, & Digital role is a future-focused thought leader who will collaborate across marketing business units, corporate functions, and regions to establish new capabilities aligned with Boston Scientific’s overall business goals. This role bridges the gap between cutting-edge technologies and real-world business opportunities, helping to transform Boston Scientific’s customer relationships. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, the ability to translate complex requirements into strategic initiatives, and the capability to communicate effectively in business and technical language. You will play a key role in developing and executing innovative marketing solutions and programs that leverage Digital, Data, Artificial Intelligence, and more.
This is a hybrid role requiring three days onsite, with the option to work from our Marlborough, MA, or Arden Hills/Maple Grove, MN locations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Develop Strategic Transformation Roadmap:
- Collaborate with functional and business leaders to identify business challenges and opportunities where emerging AI capabilities can deliver significant enterprise impact.
- Understand and synthesize trends & analytics to stay abreast of emerging marketing and technology trends and assess their potential application within Boston Scientific.
- Develop, conduct, and review Digital and Artificial Intelligence capability maturity assessments within businesses and functions to align with the strategic roadmap.
- Develop a comprehensive strategy that outlines a clear vision, goals, KPIs, and roadmap for capability integration across the organization.
- Ensure the strategy aligns with regulatory and privacy compliance, and customer preferences.
Identify and Prioritize Use Cases:
- Work with cross-functional business teams to assess where AI technology capabilities can deliver value through operational efficiencies, improving decision-making, or generating revenue growth.
- Evaluate potential AI use cases based on feasibility, readiness, and strategic alignment.
- Prioritize initiatives and develop a plan for phased implementation.
Program Management:
- Oversee the development and implementation of prioritized projects across Marketing, ensuring they meet deadlines and budgetary constraints.
- Facilitate collaboration and strong partnership between functions like Enterprise IT, Data, MarTech, Development, and others.
- Define a performance culture, track progress, measure success, and adjust the strategy, prioritization, and investment as needed.
Change Management:
- Champion the value of AI and other emerging technologies throughout the Boston Scientific, fostering a culture of innovation and education.
- Clearly communicate the strategy, value, and benefits to all levels of leadership and employees.
- Develop and implement change management strategies to mitigate resistance and ensure smooth adoption of these innovative solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in business strategy, product management, or another relevant marketing field.
- Proven track record of identifying and successfully implementing strategic business initiatives in matrixed commercial teams
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies, machine learning, generative AI, data strategy, and predictive analytics
- Demonstrated success driving internal adoption of new technology and innovative solutions to achieve strong
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
- Ability to think critically, solve problems creatively, and translate complex technical concepts into business language
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Business or related field of study.
- Experience working and extracting value with emerging technology tools and platforms
- Knowledge of data governance and ethical considerations in AI
