We now have the vacancy Operations Supervisor for the Supporting Ops. departments in our operations team.
About the role:
Provides direction, support and coaching to employees and effectively supervises processes and the efficiency of the operational departments: Marketing service, Inventory Control, Returns and Line Facilitators.
Your responsibilities include:
- Establish a team of motivated members, winning spirit
- Customer centric mindset, evaluate priorities and act on it
- Lead the Core Team in setting priorities, decision making, driving improvements, process standardization and cost savings (VIP’s)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement and support initiatives to optimize capabilities (inventory/rework) and best support the operations/business
- Analyze trends in demand volume and type and escalate where needed
- Pro-active communication and alignment with our stakeholders on meeting our internal SLA’s
- Maintaining a team with the required knowledge and expertise to support the regular flow and exceptions coming from daily operations but also the ability to participate in projects which require expertise and input
- Responsible for safety, health, quality and ergonomics on the department
- Manage, motivate and develop employees through coaching and performance management in weekly and monthly performance conversations
- Ensure all employees within your department are trained according to procedures
- Ensure all employees are involved and contribute in CI, PS and 5S program
- Responsible for the overall production capacity for daily operational activities
- Provide accurate measurements, reports and timely metrics to MT
- Coordinate information concerning recup/sickness/holidays and communicate to HR
- Act as the subject matter expert during internal and external audits
- Execute local strategy in accordance with budget
- Overall responsible for departmental time registration
Experience and skills:
- Education level: HBO or relevant work experience
- Excellent Leadership/ team management skills
- Successful track record as a people leader
- Strong administrative and analytical problem-solving skills
- Continuous improvement attitude
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills (Dutch and English)
- Experience in project management
- Experience in warehouse environment
You will work in two shifts.
