About the Role:
The Field Service Technician II (MedSurg) is a field-based position responsible for, pre-installation assessment, installation, service repair & maintenance and troubleshooting of capital equipment. This includes products such as Exalt-D Controller, StoneSmart Connect Console, Fluid Management System (FMS), iNod Console, and future endoscopy and urology CE products. The role provides both remote and onsite support, collaborating with the Field Sales Organization to deliver a top-tier customer experience. The technician performs service-related activities and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
Territory: U.S. Floater (preferred location West Coast, Minneapolis, or Dallas)

Your Responsibilities will Include:
- Propose system configurations compatible with endoscopic procedure room equipment.
- Manage clinical and technical customer relationships and expectations.
- Ensure a seamless evaluation period and address process-related adoption barriers.
- Capture, track, and report customer issues through the Quality system.
- Provide technical and process support onsite and remotely in collaboration with various teams.
- Document systems and procedure rooms for remote support.
- Update account information, create installation and field service reports in Salesforce.
- Work with R&D and Commercialization Teams on new product launch procedures.
- Report field activities and conduct electronic troubleshooting and component replacement.
- Provide in-servicing/training for medical personnel.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and equipment upgrades.
- Handle complaints and document them in the complaint handling system.
- Install systems and perform related duties, including special projects.
Required Qualifications:
- 1 year of relevant work experience with an AA degree or equivalent education/work experience.
- Proficient in computer networking, equipment troubleshooting, and administrative tasks.
- Familiarity with standard electronic test equipment.
- Ability to travel frequently and at short notice.
- Ability to manage expenses, travel arrangements and customer management.
- Possess a service vehicle (five years or newer) and meet insurance requirements.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs and work on a computer for extended periods.
- Experience in hospitals and/or ambulatory surgery centers.
- Strong communication skills for diverse audiences.
- Organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Capable of diagnosing and resolving video and IT system issues in healthcare.
- Ability to walk and stand for up to 4 hours.
- Frequent travel up to 85%.
- Proficiency with business software tools, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Over 1 year of field service equipment experience, with preference for medical equipment.
- Two-year college degree (AA) preferred, with a Biomedical or electronics major.
- Prior experience in Technical Field Service, Biomedical, or Military technical MOS.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple assignments effectively.
