About the role:

We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Content Strategy and Operations to provide leadership on our content management process, ecosystem and performance. This role is hands-on and focused on solving day-to-day issues, providing guidance and training, supporting the development of content reuse strategies with a vision and plan to drive advancement in personalization.

You will lead a team focused on taxonomy activation, content process, search engine optimization (SEO) and strategic improvements to drive personalization for our customers and efficiency for our business. The successful candidate should have expertise in developing a content ecosystem that supports omnichannel campaign delivery as well as have knowledge of related technology tools and platforms. You will work closely with Business Unit Partners in Marketing, IT, and cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth system operations and the successful implementation of transformational content strategies utilizing influence to drive efficiency and better performance. This role reports to the Director of Integrated Digital Marketing.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Create strategic vision with actionable plan to drive content efficiency and integration for complex marketing content across the content ecosystem and activation channels.
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges which require in depth valuation across marketing, delivering solutions that are long term, large scale and require partnership with cross functional groups to create digital experiences for more advanced initiatives that enable seamless customer engagement across digital channels.
  • Engage and influence cross functional groups, business partners and lead vendor relationships.
  • Foster collaboration and partnership between direct reports and partnering teams that must work together to optimize content cost, quality, and speed of delivery.
  • Create the value story inclusive of efficiency, KPI’s, and performance goals that are closely measured and optimized.

Required Qualification:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience content strategy, marketing, or consulting.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to thirty percent (30%) of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An advanced degree such as a Master's or MBA
  • Three (3) years of experience directly related to the medical device, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (AEM), Taxonomy (PoolParty), DAM solutions (Aprimo, etc)
  • Leading a content team through transformational change, adapting teams to new processes, and successfully driving change management
  • Experience with A/B/Multivariate testing platforms and Personalization tools (Adobe Target, SF Personalization Studio)
  • Experience delivering programs of medium to high complexity, coordinating the development cycle
  • Advanced ability to draw insights from data and clearly communicate them (verbal/written) to the stakeholders and executives as required
  • Ability to build strong trusted relationships with business partners
  • Experience managing, analyzing, presenting, and communicating relevant results to senior management
  • Ability to manage in a matrixed organization environment
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment that values results
  • Quick learner that can learn processes and technical details
