Develops, establishes, and maintains quality engineering methodologies, systems, and practices that meet BSC, customer, and regulatory requirements. Serves as a Quality representative to improve awareness, visibility, and communication on quality initiatives to support departmental, functional, site, divisional, and corporate quality goals and priorities.


About the role:

The Marlborough Quality Systems team is responsible for providing cross-divisional Quality Systems support through the coordination of various elements within the Quality System Management and CAPA processes within the BSC Global Quality System for the Endoscopy and Urology divisions. This position provides technical guidance and leadership to Design Quality engineers and other personnel on compliance with BSC and external requirements. This is accomplished by liaising with cross functional SMEs to gather data in support of corporate and site goals and objectives. This position drives a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the Quality systems and Design Quality groups.


Provides focused quality engineering support within the Endoscopy and Urology nonconforming event space, support in automated report generations, SharePoint creation and management and collaborates with other functions to provide enhanced metric projections.


Your Opportunity: As a Quality Co-op at Boston Scientific, you will…

  • Provide focused quality engineering support within the Endoscopy and Urology nonconforming event space
  • Support evolving processes in the cybersecurity space
  • Support training and guidance on how Artificial Intelligence (AI) impacts the Quality System
  • Support in automated report generations
  • Support the creation of new reports within PowerBI
  • SharePoint creation and management
  • Collaborates with other functions to provide enhanced metric projections


Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Graduate degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering with a graduation date of Fall 2025-Spring 2026.
  • Must be able to commit to program dates July 7th- December 12, 2025
  • An understanding of data analysis, and interpretation tools, techniques, and outcomes
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Desire to work in fast-paced Cross-Functional Teams to maintain and support quality-engineering methodologies, systems, and practices that meet BSC, customer, and regulatory requirements.
  • Working knowledge of current AI platform(s)
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills

The anticipated annualized base amount or range for this full time position will be $ 43,264 to $58,448, plus variable compensation governed by Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
