About the role

Represents Boston Scientific Pathology as a customer-focused provider of a comprehensive line of products and services to our pathology customers. Provides personal attention and assistance to our internal and external customers and will be responsive to their expressed and unexpressed needs. Provides support to the Pathology Customer Service supervisor and guidance to the PathCare Advocates. Delivers the best diagnostic results possible to help our customers provide the best patient care.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Develop outstanding relationships with Boston Scientific Pathology customers.
  • Direct support of all pathology accounts, including onboarding, daily customer support, logistical and pathology report delivery troubleshooting.
  • Manage direct communication with Boston Scientific Pathology customers via email and telephone. (ring groups as defined by supervisor.)
  • Meet and exceed departmental expectations of quality and productivity.
  • Develop a strong partnership with the sales team to identify opportunities for Boston Scientific Pathology customers.
  • Enter sales orders into the ERP computer system without delay.
  • Consult with production, warehouse, and carriers to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments and provide an immediate resolution to the customer.
  • Consult with IT and coordinate initiation, trouble-shooting, and on-going support for interfaces in support of pathology report distribution and act as the voice of Boston Scientific Pathology for any related issues.
  • Identify, define, resolve and document customer service complaints to assist in preventative and corrective actions.
  • Manage department resources to ensure proper support to customers.
  • Create, modify, implement and train on business to ensure quality customer interactions.
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for complaint management and/or issue resolution for the PathCare Team

In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.

For those individuals that supervise others, the following statements are applicable:

  • Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy.
  • Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System.

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree bachelor’s or above in Economics, procurement, Business administrator, Accounting, Commerce, law or any related field.
  • 1-2 years or prior shared services / outsourcing; medical devices company supply chain function & applications eg SAP, ESKER, imaging & OCR solutions (desirable).
  • IT technical skills: must understand & quickly learn underlying technical aspects of technology / system / applications
  • International experience – Self-awareness of communication styles and cultural / global differences
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to influence and communicate through different lawyers in the organization
  • Analytical skills and business mindset
  • Highly detailed, structured and organized
  • English Level C1+ 80-90%
