Senior Manager, Global Supply Chain Planning Forecasting & Inventory
About the Role:
At Boston Scientific, this leadership role plays a critical part within the Global Supply Chain Planning (GSCP) organization, supporting both divisional teams and the GSC Planning Hub model. This role is responsible for driving accurate demand forecasting, inventory planning, and cross‑functional alignment to enable product availability, operational efficiency, and strategic decision‑making.
Your Responsibilities Include:
Lead teams to successfully accomplish:
- End‑to‑end forecast management, including statistical forecasting, overrides, and facilitation of demand planning cycles.
- Support AOP/FCAST rollups, ensuring consolidated and accurate forecasts and inventory across the business.
- Lead and support the US Divisional Demand Meeting process, partnering closely with divisional planners.
- Management of forecasting for new items, ensuring appropriate setup, modeling, and ramp‑up considerations.
- Inventory segmentation & adherence to assigned settings which include partnership with divisional and COE teams to drive success
- Advanced proficiency with analytical tools. Includes using system tools and modeling to extract broad data sets.
Cross‑Functional Alignment & Reporting:
- Act as a key collaborator across divisional planners, forecasters, and COE teams.
- Provide SME support in segmentation refresh, VIP, portfolio health, long‑range forecast stewardship, event management tracking and revenue reconciliation.
- Facilitate regional handoffs and coordination across business units.
- Serve as forecasting and inventory SME across the organization
Leadership:
- Lead a team of forecasting & inventory professionals that report centrally to the Global Supply Chain Planning Hub but are divisionally integrated.
- Includes serving as coach and mentor to the direct team as well as partnering with the divisional teams to be effective liaison for their unique business needs.
- Communicates clear results and recommendations using advanced analytics to craft visual stories and develop reports/dashboards.
- Provides guidance to GSC Planning team on implementation of new tool
What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Analytics, Business, related field and or equivalent years of experience.
- 7+ years of experience in forecasting, demand planning, or supply planning.
- Proven analytical and data‑driven decision‑making skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Demonstrated capability to manage complexity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with inventory optimization or SIOP
- Familiarity with forecasting technologies and tools.
- Experience in organizational transformation
