About the role:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at least three-four days per week.
Relocation and housing assistance are not available for this role.

We are seeking a highly motivated AI Data Intern to support the development of enterprise AI solutions leveraging Snowflake Cortex, Agentforce, and Model Context Protocol (MCP). This role will help design and prototype AI-powered workflows that integrate structured data, large language models (LLMs), and intelligent agents within secure cloud environments.
The intern will work closely with data engineering, AI/ML, and business teams to build scalable, governed, and production-ready AI use cases that operate directly within Snowflake and across agent-based architectures.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize AI use cases that drive operational and engineering efficiency
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and data pipelines within Snowflake
- Prepare datasets for AI workflows using Python
- Build AI-driven workflows using Snowflake Cortex (LLM functions, embeddings, summarization, classification, sentiment analysis)
- Assist in building and configuring AI agents using Agentforce
- Design multi-step agent workflows that interact with enterprise data systems
- Integrate Snowflake Cortex AI functions into agent-based decision flows Collaborate with data engineers to prepare and transform datasets for AI workflows
- Implement and test MCP-based integrations to securely pass context between data systems and LLMs
- Design context packaging strategies to optimize model performance
- Assist in managing structured and unstructured context for agent-based systems Validate model outputs, evaluate performance, and suggest improvements
- Help document AI workflows, best practices, and implementation guides to support scalable adoption
Required Qualifications:
- Must graduate between Fall 2026 – Spring 2028
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate level degree majoring in Computer Science, Business/Data Analytics, or Data Science.
- Must be able to commit to one of the following full internship program periods: May 18th – August 7th OR May 26th – August 14th
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the Arden Hills, MN Boston Scientific Corporate location

- Previous internship or co-op experience
