Location: On-site in New York City, New York

Compensation: We are open to hiring candidates in our various office locations across the United States. We also receive applications from, and hire, candidates with varying levels of experience for example those who have a few years experience in a role to those who are looking to make a step up. The salary ranges on our job postings are set so as to account for these variable factors with decisions on the salary to be offered only made once we know the experience and location of our new hire.

What's the role

As the Associate Director, Growth at Brainlabs you will focus on leading new business development by owning the pitch process, driving strategy, and crafting compelling client narratives. The ideal candidate combines media expertise, storytelling ability, and a hands-on, energetic approach to winning and growing client relationships.

What you do

  • Lead and Own the Pitch Process: Manage end-to-end new business pitches—both the behind-the-scenes logistics and high-stakes, in-room delivery. Confidently own the room and ensure every element of our pitch feels polished, persuasive, and purposeful.
  • Be a Builder and a Doer: You’re not just a thinker—you’re a driver. Roll up your sleeves to shape proposals, coordinate internal teams, and directly contribute to the creative and strategic development of each opportunity.
  • Client-Facing Presence & Storytelling: Represent the agency with impact. Deliver compelling, customized narratives that articulate our value proposition. You have the storytelling skills to turn strategy into inspiration and leave a lasting impression.
  • Media Expertise Across the Board: You bring a deep understanding of the full media landscape—digital, and emerging—and can develop high-level strategies that excite clients and solve their business challenges.
  • Prospecting and Opportunity Hunting: Meet with prospective clients to uncover business needs and articulate how our media capabilities can address their goals. Your ability to connect, listen, and excite is crucial
