Your key duties

A position has arisen for a Planning and Project Control Lead to join our Project Management team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing progress reports, graphs and critical path analysis for the monthly and weekly progress reports
  • Reporting any risks, opportunities and any mitigation strategies to maintain the project completion date
  • Reviewing actual progress against the construction programme and preparing all relevant reports
  • Report and advice of any early warnings with regards to potential delay events
  • Monitor and report any cost related programme risks
  • Review and prepare prospective and retrospective delay analysis
  • Collaborating and engaging with peers and senior members of the team, in the middle east and the wider Buro Happold network of offices

Your skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree relevant to the built environment in planning, design or engineering such as Urban Planning, Architecture, Geography, or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree or equivalent qualification is desirable.
  • Experience of major multi-contract projects.
  • Knowledge of Time Impact Analysis and Forensic delay analysis.
  • Knowledge of planning principles, methodology, practices of research and data collection
  • Excellent Knowledge of Primavera P6
  • Excellent Knowledge of MS Project.
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Relevant Degree in Engineering
  • Experience in the Middle East is essential.
  • PMO / PMC experience
  • Portfolio level Master Scheduling Experience.
  • Pre- Construction / Design Phase / Authority Approval Scheduling Experience.
  • Reporting – Power-BI / PowerPoint experience.
