About You

Are you a experienced Structural Engineer looking to grow your expertise and make a difference on projects across the world? Buro Happold is looking to recruit an designer assistant engineer to join our structural team at our office in Warsaw.

Your key duties

• Undertake detailed structural engineering building design and calculations, using Revit and dedicated software to support your knowledge of exemplar building design and performance, as well as an appreciation of a designs embodied carbon.

• Embrace technologies to improve performance and sustainability to meet to net zero targets by 2030.

• Ensure projects are carried out to an excellent standard, within agreed deadlines and budgets.

• Represent Buro Happold at meetings with clients, other professionals, and suppliers.

• Produce and review reports, presentations, models and drawings to an excellent standard, high level of accuracy and in a timely manner.

• Actively engage with colleagues across disciplines, in group discussions and at events and seminars.

Your skills and experience

As an experienced Structural Engineer, it is expected that you would be able to demonstrate:

• Solid experience (3-4 y.) in an assistant role within civil engineering and construction design.

• Reliable experience from a variety of interesting and challenging projects in Poland and internationally.

• Pragmatic approach, someone who is willing to be a part of challenging projects.

• Working towards to gain Professional Engineer License.

• Experience with BIM tools such as REVIT and AutoCAD.

• Language skills: Fluent in English and Polish.
