Your key duties

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Transport Planner to join our prestigious team in KSA, Riyadh, to work on some of the world’s best and most complex projects.

  • Led a team of transport and mobility projects to ensure successful technical and commercial delivery in the Middle East, including technical review and client interfaces.
  • Provide technical expertise in transport planning, including transport master plan development, strategic transport advice and typical access and parking studies.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients and stakeholders on transport-related solutions, ensuring integration with the urban realm, sustainable, equitable travel, and client expectations.
  • Ensure the quality of projects and illustrations of transport-related items are best-in-class.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Responsible for reviewing and compiling technical reports and delivering presentations to clients and stakeholders on transport projects and solutions.

Your skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Transport Planning or a related field.
  • Arabic speaker.
  • 10+ years of experience in transport planning, with a proven track record of delivering a range of transport projects in the Middle East, including strategic projects, master plans, access and parking studies.
  • Preferable to have knowledge and experience in transport-related programmes, including GIS, VISSIM, VISUM, Synchro and Sidra.
  • Be a Transport thought leader.
  • Knowledge of future mobility and emerging transport technologies.
  • Proven record of taking the initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines.
