Role Description

• Accompany/manage challenging consulting projects in the payments transactions environment
• Work with a high level of client focus, leveraging your own experience and those of your Capco colleagues
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements (including business processes, data formats and non-functional requirements)
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications
• Work closely with developers and testers to design payment solutions that meet business objectives, document workflows
• Depending on your seniority and as the project progresses, you will challenge and support your colleagues, giving them increasing responsibility for their topics, including leading sub-projects and smaller project teams
• In addition to project work, you will have the opportunity to get involved in various internal topics and implement your own ideas to further your professional and personal development

Skills and Expertise

• Previous experience in the Payments domain (SEPA, SWIFT)
• Understanding of financial messaging standards including ISO 20022, EBICS, ISO 15022
• Understanding of end-to-end payment processing workflows, inbound/outbound messages, happy and error scenarios
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to payments
• Experience with payment gateways, payment APIs
• Ability to analyze complex payment processes and identify potential issues
• Experience with translation of business requirements into technical specifications (interface specifications, integration methods)
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Fluent in English and at least understanding of written German
