- Lead and mentor a team including a Senior Analyst/Business Support and Anaplan model builders and developers, ensuring high-quality deliverables and professional growth.
- Define best practices and enforce development standards across Anaplan projects.
- Oversee the design, build, and deployment of scalable Anaplan solutions aligned with business strategy.
- Serve as the Anaplan subject matter expert and architect, ensuring solutions meet both functional and technical requirements.
- Coordinate the overall responsibility for user profile administration, ticket resolution and tracking, data delivery and data refresh, and ultimately driving the continuous improvement of reporting outputs produced from Anaplan
- Enhance and maintain existing Anaplan models while introducing new functionality to support enterprise-wide connected planning initiatives.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, and Technology leaders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide regular updates, manage expectations, and deliver actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
- Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues and guide the team toward effective solutions.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure seamless deployment and adoption of solutions. Establish governance frameworks for change management, testing, and release cycles.
- Define and manage user access, roles, and security settings within Anaplan.
- Document model designs, processes, and updates to ensure long-term scalability and consistency.
- Oversee design and support for integrations with ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems.
- Ensure data accuracy, availability, and performance across all planning models.
- Anaplan Certified Solution Architect (Master Anaplanner certification preferred).
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Anaplan solution design and implementation, including at least 2–3 years in a team leadership or managerial role.
- Strong financial modeling expertise and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proven ability to translate Excel-based models into scalable Anaplan solutions.
- Experience with EPM tools (e.g., Peoplesoft, SAP, Business Objects, TM1, Power BI).
- Deep understanding of data integrations with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, APS).
- Hands-on experience working with Agile methodologies, including requirement gathering, design, testing, and deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance technical and business considerations.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, MIS, or related fields.
- Prior experience managing global teams across time zones and cultures.
- Ability to work flexible hours to collaborate with UK/US counterparts.
- Passion for analytics, planning, and driving business transformation through connected planning.
