The Role
Capco is looking for a Senior Business Analyst with a strong focus on Target Operating Model (TOM) design and delivery to join our Business Consulting practice. This role spans multiple financial services domains, including Capital Markets, Wealth & Asset Management, Banking & Payments, and Insurance.
You will work with clients to assess current-state operating models, define future-state designs, and support the transition required to realise meaningful, long-term change. Operating in a consulting environment, you’ll collaborate with business, technology, and data stakeholders to deliver pragmatic, outcome-focused transformation.

The Role
Capco is looking for a Senior Business Analyst with a strong focus on Target Operating Model (TOM) design and delivery to join our Business Consulting practice. This role spans multiple financial services domains, including Capital Markets, Wealth & Asset Management, Banking & Payments, and Insurance.
You will work with clients to assess current-state operating models, define future-state designs, and support the transition required to realise meaningful, long-term change. Operating in a consulting environment, you’ll collaborate with business, technology, and data stakeholders to deliver pragmatic, outcome-focused transformation.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Target Operating Model initiatives, covering current-state assessment, future-state design, and transition planning
- Analyse and design operating model components including processes, governance, data, technology, roles, and controls
- Work across multiple financial services domains to identify common challenges, dependencies, and improvement opportunities
- Facilitate workshops to align stakeholders on vision, design principles, and delivery priorities
- Support delivery teams to translate TOM designs into actionable roadmaps and change initiatives
- Strong business analysis experience with demonstrable Target Operating Model delivery
- Cross-domain exposure across Capital Markets, Wealth & Asset Management, Banking & Payments, and/or Insurance
- Experience designing or supporting changes to processes, operating structures, and ways of working
- Ability to work with business, technology, and data teams to align operating models with delivery realities
- Consulting skills including stakeholder engagement, structured problem-solving, and clear communication
- Experience incorporating data, analytics, or AI-enabled capabilities into operating model designs
- Exposure to operating model change driven by regulation, digital transformation, or cost optimisation
- Familiarity with agile operating models, product-aligned teams, or platform-based delivery
- Experience defining TOM roadmaps, transition states, or business cases
- Confidence supporting senior stakeholders through complex design decisions
- Deliver high-impact business and technology solutions for leading financial services organisations
