Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets using statistical techniques, software tools, and available AI technology
  • Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in these complex data sets
  • Working closely with SMEs to prioritize business and information needs
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop data-driven solutions
  • Creating and maintaining documentation that includes the design, requirements, and user manuals for new and existing data projects
  • Preparing reports and presentations for various stakeholders, including senior management
  • Communicating complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

Qualifications:

  • Preferred degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role
  • Preferred experience in the financial services industry or a similar highly regulated environment.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases (SQL, etc.), and automation tools (Alteryx)
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Qlik, PowerBI etc.)
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, test, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings
