Job Description – Treasury Risk & Controls Specialist
- Leverage treasury expertise, with a strong focus on Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB), to support risk management initiatives and control enhancements.
- Document, remediate, test, and continuously improve internal controls across treasury processes, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks, driving effective solutions and fostering a culture of accountability.
- Analyse and interpret complex data sets to inform risk assessments, control testing, and decision-making, demonstrating strong data literacy and attention to detail.
- Prepare clear, comprehensive documentation and reports for senior management and regulatory stakeholders, articulating control effectiveness and remediation progress.
- Drive remediation initiatives to address data quality gaps, collaborating with business and technology teams to implement sustainable improvements
- Manage risk reduction activities linked to data quality, proactively identifying emerging risks and supporting the development of mitigation strategies
