This role is for the AirKey team, part of the Emerging Payments & AirKey group at Capital One. AirKey is a new method of authentication, effectively turning the payment card into a hardware authenticator, that can help reduce fraud and drive customer engagement for banks and other third parties. The AirKey team is focused on building a new commercial business based on this proprietary technology developed and patented by Capital One. As a Director of Product Management on the team you will lead a team of product managers and work closely with tech on strategy and implementation of AirKey with commercial partners. You will determine the product roadmap based on feedback and analysis from internal and external partners.

  • You’ll establish a long-term product portfolio strategy, informed by customer and business needs, and partner with leaders and stakeholders to regularly drive alignment, secure resources and overcome impediments

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

• At least 7 years of experience in digital product management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering

• MBA or Master’s degree

• 5+ years of experience in Agile product management

• Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $233,100 - $266,000 for Director, Product Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan. This role is expected to accept applications for a minimum of 5 business days. No agencies please.
