The Senior Manager, Enterprise Learning Facilitation is a strategic leader responsible for leading and developing a team of learning facilitators and people leaders to deliver engaging and high-impact learning experiences across the entire company. This leader is ultimately accountable for the quality and effectiveness of learning facilitation across the enterprise.
This role is critical to a learning transformation journey, which involves redefining how value is delivered through learning strategies and solutions that drive high business value. Success requires a leader who can inspire, empower, and support a team of professionals , strategically planning, overseeing, and improving all aspects of the training delivery process , and building strong stakeholder relationships.
You will provide strategic leadership and creative vision for the function, developing and influencing the learning delivery strategy to ensure the highest value work is delivered. You will also establish and monitor key learning performance metrics to measure and enhance business impact , using data to drive continuous improvement in facilitation quality.

An Experienced People Manager: Has a proven track record of leading and developing teams of learning professionals. You are passionate about coaching and mentoring your direct reports and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Here is what you will need to be successful:
Exceptional leadership and management of a team of learning facilitators and people leaders.
Ability to develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for learning delivery.
Strong partnership with senior leaders to understand business needs and translate them into effective learning solutions.
The ability to adjust delivery seamlessly based on learner engagement and needs, ensuring a balance between interactive and instructional techniques.
Demonstrated history of defining and implementing robust evaluation models and data analytics to measure the impact of all learning products.
Ability to manage ambiguity, lead through change, and deliver in a matrixed environment.
Proactively share recommendations and collaborate with stakeholders to identify emerging needs and gaps based on data insights.
High level of initiative, ownership, and a customer-centric mindset.
Ability and willingness to travel domestically (~30% of the time).
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
At least 5 years of experience in learning facilitation
At least 5 years of experience in project management, program management or a combination (planning, executing, tracking, reporting)
At least 5 years of experience with client consulting
At least 3 years of experience in people leadership with 3 or more direct reports
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Communications, Learning and Development, or Organizational Design/Effectiveness
At least 8 years of experience in learning facilitation
At least 8 years of experience in project management, program management or a combination (planning, executing, tracking, reporting)
At least 8 years of experience with client consulting
At least 5 years of experience in people leadership including as a leader of leaders
Certification in a recognized team or personality assessment (e.g. CliftonStrengths, MBTI, Hogan, etc.)

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $163,900 - $187,100 for Sr. Learning Manager
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
