Senior Associate, Front-End Web & Email Developer (Auto - Brand & Marketing)

Capital One Auto Dealer Brand is seeking a skilled and innovation-driven Senior Associate, Front-End Web & Email Developer. In this role, you will exist to transform curiosity into clarity and ideas into impactful systems. You will play a critical role in the structure, layout, and functionality of our financial services marketing campaigns and touchpoints, ensuring high-quality execution across landing pages, email campaigns, and other experience-driven interactions. You will be responsible for partnering with business partners, brand strategy managers, data partners, and creative teams to produce deliverables as well as helping the team to drive strategy, technical innovation, and operational efficiency. This highly visible role creates a powerful opportunity to act as a subject matter expert, using research, insights and technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Create structure, layout, and functionality of landing pages and websites using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).

  • Build and render technically accurate email templates within email clients adhering to common platform limitations (Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other tools).

  • Produce clean, reusable, and technically accurate code files for deployment.

  • Partner on the technical feasibility of creative and strategic concepts. Translate design mockups (Figma) into functional interfaces.

  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Manage ongoing testing and improvement of campaigns. Conduct cross-browser/cross-client compatibility checks and debugging using browser developer tools.

  • Ensure all deliverables adhere to accessibility standards (WCAG), as well as CAN-SPAM and GDPR regulations.

  • Act as an insight-driven beacon on industry trends, driving future-facing standardization by staying current with the state of the art in technology.

  • Act as a proactive technical partner, influencing decisions on tooling, process improvements, and navigating our processes to mitigate risk to deliver exceptional outcomes for our end customers.

  • Manage numerous projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, self-managing deadlines on concurrent projects to meet strict timelines without sacrificing quality.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in front-end web development (HTML5, CSS3+, JavaScript ES6+).

  • At least 2 years of experience in email development platforms.

  • At least 2 years of experience with Responsive Design principles, modern and mobile-first development.

  • At least 2 years of experience with Ampscript for dynamic personalization and logic within emails.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree

  • 2+ years of experience with modern JavaScript & web frameworks (Tailwind, React, Angular, or Vue.js) and TypeScript for robust, type-safe code.

  • 1+ years of experience using Generative AI tools (examples include Gemini, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Cursor) to accelerate coding workflows and iterate on technical solutions.

  • Proficiency with Git and Version Control workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and modern deployment environments.

  • Strong understanding of User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design principles.

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Plano, TX: $87,700 - $100,100 for Sr. Associate, Marketing











Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
