Job Purpose and Impact

The Strategic Account Lead - Nutrition will focus on medium to long term planning and face-to-face selling. In this role, you will sell a variety of highly complex products, services and solutions across multiple lines of business for a defined group of existing clients, craft medium to long range sales plans and prepare strategies to protect, grow and diversify the relationship with a defined group of existing customers.

This role is open to candidates in the Central US.

Key Accountabilities

  • Identify and handle interactions with assigned groups of customers to establish sales opportunities.
  • Resolve problems and ensure customers receive high quality service.
  • Develop client retention and growth plans and strategies for developing profitable business with assigned accounts.
  • Review and report on customer retention, business opportunities and market trends.
  • Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide directions to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of six years of related work experience
  • Ability to travel up to 60% as needed for the role
