Job Purpose and Impact

The Regional Commercial & Key Account Lead (South Asia) will be aligned to Cargill’s Animal Nutrition Business. In this role you will lead, implement and execute all sales operations and tactics for India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka for the Micro Nutrition and Health business. You will use your interpersonal skills to provide direction to frontline sales workforce professionals and supervisors. You will lead all aspects of sales operations activities for the feed additives for India and Bangladesh.

Key Accountabilities

• Evaluate market potential and sales status.
• Develop the Micro Nutrition and Health business for India and Bangladesh whereby managing distributors and key accounts.
• Plan, organize and coordinate sales operations of company or organization.
• Plan and organize sales programs, including sales methodologies, incentives, special campaigns and professional training for personnel.
• Coordinate with Strategic Marketing and Technology (SMT) team for effective implementation of Cargill’s offerings with the customers.
• Responsible for P/L management.
• Implement business strategy in coordination with the SMT team and distributors.
• Gain in depth general industry as well as deep local market knowledge.
• Supervise the daily sales operations activities, executing and deploying the sales plans, vision and goals.
• Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
• Internal stakeholder collaboration.
• People development to attract and retain talent.
• Be a champion of a healthy culture in the team.
• Maintain high level of ethics in the team.
• Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of four years of related work experience.
• Other minimum qualifications may apply.

Preferred Qualifications
• Atleast 6 years of post-qualification experience.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the feed additives industry.
• Comes with an animal feed and nutrition background.
• Should be a qualified MBA / Masters in Animal Nutrition/Animal production or Veterinary course.
• Techno-commercial background with a strong blend of sales and marketing experience.
• Strong exposure to managing distributors, key accounts and local sales & marketing activities.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
