The Cigna Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Finance Intern to join our Finance team for a graduate-level internship. This role offers hands-on exposure to key areas of corporate finance, including financial planning and analysis, capital budgeting, strategic decision-making, and performance reporting. The ideal candidate is pursuing a graduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and is eager to apply their knowledge in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on a 10–12-week project aligned to our business priorities and growth strategies.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams on special projects in areas like corporate strategy & development, financial planning & analysis, healthcare pricing, treasure/capital management, accounting/audit, and underwriting.

  • Prepare presentations for internal stakeholders, including executive leadership.

  • Analyze financial data and trends to provide actional insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a graduate degree (MBA, MS in Finance, Accounting, or related field).

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

  • Knowledge of financial modeling, valuation methods, and corporate finance principles.

  • Desire to pursue a career in the healthcare industry.

  • One goal of this internship program is to prepare and identify qualified candidates for roles with Cigna post-graduation. Therefore, this temporary internship is open only to individual who are eligible for employment in the United States after college graduation and who would not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
