Position Summary

The Intelligence Solutions team is a growing team that supports our Data Licensing and Information Services business. We maintain our own revenue and expense budgets to generate $100M in revenue.

We are the commercialization engine for data and analytics monetization for the organization. Our clients are interested in our claims data assets and analytical products to drive solutions in the marketplace. We have a dedicated sales team to engage new clients and markets to drive revenue growth for the organization. We have an operations team that leads client implementations, financial reporting and data analysis.

This Account Management position will report to the Sales Director and support our existing data clients.

The position will:

  • Provide counsel and advice to the sales director on significant client matters, often requiring coordination between organizations.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships and develops and executes account strategies that result in revenue retention and growth.
  • Maintain regular engagement with clients to understand and address concerns.
  • Create demand for the organization's products and services by raising their profile with customers.
  • May conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the customer's senior management to understand their needs and link them to the organization's product/service strategies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analysis of complex contractual and business situations, including distillation of the issues, developing insights and potential solutions, and driving appropriate conclusions.
  • Manage complex cross-functional strategic initiatives for clients, using appropriate account management skills.
  • Develops and maintains effective business partnerships to ensure service issues are managed proactively; communicated clearly, accurately and effectively with all business partners
  • Drive conversations with clients with potential opportunities to extend and grow arrangements through enhanced sales.
  • Ensures timely and accurate responses to inquiries and service requests. Manages and monitors requests and refers changes to support team, while still maintaining oversight of delivery for timeliness and accuracy.
  • Contributes substantially to achieving the Sales team’s business goals and objectives in client satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Ensuring that agreed upon client deliverables are achieved or renegotiated as needed through ongoing communication with internal partners and client
  • Holding challenging conversations with both internal and external partners as the need arises

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field with 8+ years relevant experience or Master’s degree with 6+ years relevant experience
  • Microsoft Office software experience.
  • Experience reading legal contractual language.
  • Willingness to share opinions and take risk.
  • Takes initiative, independent thinker and worker.
  • Strong business analysis skills
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
  • Customer-orientation and customer insight/experience skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills; Innovation solution identification & development
  • Strong collaboration & relationship building skills
  • Knowledge of health care and/or PBM industry preferred
  • Knowledge of process improvement preferred
  • Experience in project management preferred
