Our people make all the difference in our success. We are looking for engineer to develop, optimize and fine-tune AI models for performance, scalability, and accuracy. In this role you will support the full software lifecycle of design, development, testing, and support for technical delivery. This role requires working with both onsite and offshore team members in properly defining scenarios based on requirements/acceptance criteria.
Responsibilities
Comprehensive understanding of cloud computing principles (such as elasticity, trust, resource pooling, rapid elasticity, measured service) and architectures (microservice and serverless) from major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OpenShift).
Hands on experience with any Scripting & Automation.
Responsible for plan, Design, implementing application infrastructure for scalable, distributed system including CI/CD pipelines & automation.
Deploy the code into AWS and OpenShift platforms through Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment using Jenkins, Github Actions, Gitlab after each successful implementation of new feature.
Performance Tuning: Troubleshoot performance issues and ensure efficient database operations.
Security: Implement and maintain database security measures, including access controls, encryption, and auditing, in accordance with best practices and compliance requirements.
Backup and Recovery: Develop and execute database backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
Patch Management: Keep SQL, NoSQL, and AWS RDS instances up to date with the latest patches and updates.
Scaling and Capacity Planning: Scale database resources as needed to accommodate growth and changing workloads. Perform capacity planning to ensure resources are allocated appropriately.
Monitoring and Alerting: Set up monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address database issues. Use AWS CloudWatch and other tools for monitoring.
Automation: Implement automation scripts and workflows for routine database tasks and maintenance.
Collaboration: Collaborate with application developers, system administrators, and other teams to ensure seamless integration of databases into applications and infrastructure.
Documentation: Develop clear and concise documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and presentations, to communicate concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Participating in software/hardware configuration, releases, and installation tasks.
Working in an AGILE environment with bi-weekly sprints and provided work updates in daily SCRUM calls, maintaining industry level best practices for Infrastructure Engineering using wide varieties of latest technologies and frameworks.
Qualifications
Desired Skills:
DevOps culture and Strong knowledge on Git and CICD process.
Containerization Services Kubernetes or OpenShift and Docker.
Hands-on with Terraform to build / automate Cloud Infrastructure.
Automation with Python or any other scripting experience.
Experience on Cloud services like Postgres AWS RDS(SQL), DynamoDB (NoSQL) or Document DB and Elastic Cache.
Familiarity with agile Scrum or Kanban.
Required Experience & Education:
Minimum of 6 years’ experience in IT
5+ years of experience in cloud computing delivery models (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS), microservices and deployment models related to Public, Private and Hybrid Cloud service of any provider (AWS or Azure or GCP).
5+ years of experience in SCM tools like Gitlab or Github and CICD pipelines (Jenkins, etc)
3+ years of engineering expertise with building API Integrations, configuring and deploying cloud services, setting up authentication, monitoring and logging.
4+ years of relevant work experience in solutions design and engineering experience on containerization (Docker) and OpenShift or Kubernetes.
3+ Hands-on with Amazon RDS, DynamoDB, and its features, including automated backups, automated software patching, and scalability options.
3+ Expertise in AWS Elastic Cache and its feature.
Proficient in OpenShift or any other containerization technologies.
Needs to be proficient in Terraform for automation.
Experience with monitoring tools, such as AWS CloudWatch, Dynartace or Datadog, Splunk.
Knowledge of database backup and recovery strategies, including point-in-time recovery and high availability solutions.
Ability to assess requirements and plan for scaling as needed.
Strong problem-solving & troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving issues.
Ability to maintain clear and comprehensive documentation.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Knowledge on Linux / Unix environments is an addon.
College Degree (minimum Bachelors) in related technical areas or equivalent work experience.
Location & Hours of Work:
Hyderabad and Hybrid (11:30 AM IST to 8:30 PM IST)
