Citi Digital FX is at the forefront of providing innovative FX solutions, leveraging Citi's award-winning electronic execution platform, Citi Velocity, multi-dealer platforms, and a rich suite of FX APIs. We empower our clients to thrive in the digital age by designing and implementing solutions that address critical business needs in treasury, payments, and e-commerce, around the themes of digitalization, market expansion, and operational efficiency.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales professional to lead digital FX coverage for enterprise and corporate clients in the Greater China region, with a primary focus on Hong Kong. This is a high-impact, client-facing role where you will:

  • Drive Digital FX Adoption: Lead the strategy and execution for expanding our digital FX footprint among Greater China corporate clients, including local corporations, small-to-mid-cap firms, public sector entities, and multinational corporations.

  • Become a Trusted Advisor: Develop deep relationships with clients, understanding their unique business challenges and objectives, and positioning Citi's digital FX and payment solutions to meet their needs.

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with FX sales, Product owners, and partners from Banking and Services to deliver integrated solutions and exceptional client service.

  • Champion Innovation: Identify and pursue opportunities to leverage technology to solve client problems and drive business transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the Hong Kong corporate client segment.

  • Optimize portfolio returns and risk management across all electronic FX channels.

  • Proactively engage clients to understand their FX and payment needs and originate tailored solutions leveraging Citi's digital capabilities.

  • Collaborate closely with Product Management to develop innovative and best-in-class digital solutions.

  • Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape in the FX and payments space.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing support for clients.

  • Foster a robust Risk and Control culture and adhere to Citi’s Control Framework and policy framework

  • Be known as a digital thought leader both internally and externally.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of sales and solutioning experience

  • Previous experience with FX, Corporate Sales, Corporate Treasury, Payments or relevant technologies

  • Proven track record on originating and growing client relationships

  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills

  • Keen interest in global markets and technology

  • Languages: Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese would be a significant asset.
