The Reference Data Services Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Project Team Member to join Global Projects Team in Securities, Pricing and Events Department. The ideal candidate will possess strong capital markets knowledge, with a particular focus on securities and pricing, and will demonstrate the ability to independently lead and execute complex projects with minimal supervision. This role will be pivotal in driving simplification, automation, and modernization initiatives within our securities operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute strategic projects across securities and pricing domains with minimal oversight
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders (Technology and Operations) to document requirements, usage patterns, and opportunities for process simplification, automation or migration
  • Design and implement process improvements to streamline operations and increase efficiency
  • Drive system adoption initiatives, focusing on enhancing user engagement and operational effectiveness
  • Actively participate in decommissioning of legacy applications, ensuring seamless transitions to modern platforms from operations perspective.
  • Propose alternatives to existing EUCs, supporting the transition to enterprise-grade platforms where feasible
  • Maintain detailed documentation and deliver regular updates to stakeholders and governance forums
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for existing automation solutions during the transition period
  • Deal with variable (occasionally complex) issues with substantial potential impact

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of prior banking operations experience
  • Bachelor’s/University degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English ; able to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a self-starter attitude
  • Strong understanding of securities and pricing reference data
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
  • Experience working with data – cleansing, transformation, and reporting
