The Finance Reporting Manager is an intermediate level position responsible for providing support for the generation, analysis, and submission of reports to various constituencies based on requirements such as Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR), US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), US Regulatory, and local statutory reporting, in coordination with the broader Financial Reporting Team. The overall objective is to apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge to contribute to directional strategy.


Responsibilities:

  • Support the local Capital Planning and ICAAP production for the Broker dealer entity in Germany.
  • Support the production and analysis as well as the timely and accurate fulfillment of regulatory reporting requirements related to i.e. ICAAP, Capital Planning, ECB Stress test, genuine Stress Testing activities for the broker dealer entity
  • Support the production and analysis as well as the timely and accurate fulfillment of regulatory reporting requirements related to i.e. Recovery & Resolution
  • Participate in projects as well as change-initiatives for the local German regulatory reporting group
  • Ensure overall efficient and targeted reporting, identify process improvements & drive re-engineering initiatives.
  • Assist with the implementation of policies and procedures
  • Support the day to day management of Finance relationship with the German and other regulators
  • Support change process by ensuring further technical improvements and high quality deliveries from the service centers
  • Support the implementation of new regulatory rules and requirements as well as respective tailored reporting requirements to internal and external stakeholders
  • Work with senior leadership on strategic planning, establishing guidelines, implementing controls, and executing strategic plans
  • Contact for questions arising from regulators around regulatory initiatives, which include regulatory reporting (COREP, FINREP, Statistical Reporting etc. ) capital planning processes, ICAAP / SREP related topics.
  • Work with external and internal auditors for all regulatory related queries
  • Interact with International teams on regulatory reporting to ensure knowledge transfer in all directions

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Financial Services preferred (multinational experience would be an advantage)
  • Profound technical knowledge of German regulatory reporting requirements as well as applicable regulation i.e. CRR, CRR2, CRR3.and Basel Accords.
  • Experience in dealing with regulators i.e. BaFin, Bundesbank, ECB, SRB as well as external auditors
  • In depth knowledge of ICAAP, Recovery & Resolution requirements or capital planning processes.
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Very good analytical and technical skills
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and German (beneficial)
  • Practical experience with Finance processes.
  • Understanding of US and local accounting principles.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • MBA or Professional Degree an advantage.
