Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Support Tech Lead Analyst for its Jersey City, NJ location.
Duties: Manage, maintain, and support applications and their operating environments which includes focusing on stability, quality, and functionality in line with service level expectations. Provide technical and business support and quick resolution to application issues to help the department and overall business succeed. Maintain production environments with highest levels of observability, resiliency, and recoverability. Perform controlled resolution of incidents and problems including prioritization and escalation to relevant groups when appropriate and root cause analysis of all problems with follow-through to resolution. Champion stability initiatives to enable application high availability for Business-As-Usual which includes better monitoring, failover, and resiliency. Follow Incident & Problem management procedures diligently for delivering Production Management service. Handle incident, problems and change requests at a global enterprise level. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation providing technical support in the design and implementation of data solutions. Two (2) years of experience must include: Maintaining production environments with the highest levels of observability, resiliency and recoverability and driving stability, efficiency, and effectiveness improvements of supported technology platforms. Troubleshooting production issues, performing root cause analysis, and identifying and providing technical solutions for issues utilizing UNIX, Linux, Kafka Messaging Queues, Oracle, SQL queries, Shell Scripting and Cloud-based platforms. Preparing complex reports for business users utilizing skills in Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server databases, Mongo DB and SQL Developer. Performing controlled resolution of incidents and problems including prioritization and escalation, and root cause analysis of problems with follow through to resolution. Driving stability initiatives to enable application high availability for Business-As-Usual which includes better monitoring, failover, and resiliency, and owning end to end disaster recovery plan and activity. Handling incidents, problems and change requests at a global enterprise level, and handling major incident process end to end with problem reviews.
