The Digital FX Salesperson is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
Responsibilities:
- Help drive the team's developed strategy across specified product lines
- Aid to achieve specified goals in both market and wallet share for the identified client franchise
- Originate and execute meaningful and landmark transactions
- Will independently and/or jointly work within business product to achieve the strategic growth and market share we are aiming for
- Partner closely with other key businesses and functions to ensure proper product deployment based on understanding of client
- Help foster an environment of collaboration through interfacing with appropriate internal partners to enhance share of mind with clients, increase dialogue and to deliver on expertise
- Understand and analyze clients’ businesses and exposures to provide best suited sales solutions in full coordination with all relevant business partners
- Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
- Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics
- Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputation.
- Be familiar with and adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience
- Previous experience in client-facing roles with proven track record on growing and maintaining relationships through value added service and commercial skills
- An entrepreneurial approach for business origination and developing new relationships
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Must be able to write, read and speak English fluently
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Mission:
Contribute to the Brazil Digital FX Sales business which involves taking ownership of client relationships for the Digital FX value proposition, managing the product and solution value proposition and maintaining appropriate risks and controls. The role involves managing multiple stakeholders internally.
Skills:
- An entrepreneurial approach for business origination and developing new relationships.
- Ability to multi-task and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative and manage tight deadlines.
- FX products knowledge, including spot, forwards & NDFs
- Understand and analyze clients’ businesses and exposures to provide best suited sales solutions in full coordination with all relevant business partners
- Execution oriented with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to track project performance and progress.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional presentation skills. Ability to present to senior levels of management and to facilitate discussions at the senior stakeholder level.
- Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
- Solid understanding of risk, knowing when to escalate and comfortable working with technology
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years relevant experience in Financial Services or similar fields with documented track record of success.
- Project Management skills/working knowledge of the techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling programs and resources.
- Fluent in English and Portuguese. Spanish is a plus.

- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
