The Product Manager provides full leadership and supervisory responsibility. Provides operational/service leadership and direction to team(s). Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge through provision of value-added perspectives or advisory services. May contribute to the development of new techniques, models and plans within area of expertise. Excel communication and diplomacy skills are required. Generally has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness of end results and shared responsibility for planning and budgets. Work affects an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. Full supervisory responsibility, ensuring motivation and development of team through professional leadership to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations as well as direction of daily tasks and responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Manager’s Control Assessment (MCA) process globally including Annual Risk Assessment (ARA) and Quarterly Testing
  • MCA is a core component of Citi’s Operational Risk Management AMA Framework and is critical to the effective management of operational risk across the franchise
  • Manage the New Product Approval Committee (NPAC), Integrated Corrective Action Plan System (ICAPs), and Risk Exception Tracking process globally to support the businesses responsibility to ensure that any new business, service or complex transaction is approved by the NPAC committee and that Risk items are identified and properly addressed.
  • Manage the Intercompany Service Agreement (ICSA) Tracking process globally
  • Manage the Centralized Contract Exception Database globally
  • Assist with Rules Committee by developing agendas, documenting meeting minutes and assisting with follow up items
  • Draft specifications, requirements, workflows and procedure documentation as required
  • Act as a key interface between business operations, other product management functions, Technology and vendors on a global basis for internal projects
  • Maintain an environment of trust and close cooperation between operations, technology, and global product management
  • Leading strong governance and controls
  • Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
  • Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics
  • Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; and ensure that all team members understand the need to do the same, demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputation.
  • Be familiar with and adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services; and ensure that all team members understand the need to do the same
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel required
  • A successful candidate will be a self-starter capable of problem solving with limited supervision and interacting with senior partners within our product, across business lines and with our control functions
  • Proficiency with SharePoint, Databases and other similar technology a plus


Education:

  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience

Administración del portafolio actual de créditos personales para maximizar tanto la rentabilidad como asegurar el cumplimento de la oferta de valor a los clientes y asegure la competencia de los productos en el mercado

  • Mantenimiento y desarrollo del portafolio 60%

  • Ejecución de controles y 10%

Principales Actividades:

  • Diseñar, dirigir, supervisar y garantizar la correcta implementación de la estrategia del negocio de Créditos Personales, tanto a corto como a mediano y largo plazo, mejorando la experiencia del cliente, innovando el producto, diseñando nuevas ideas para el desarrollo de nuevos negocios.
  • Análisis, diseño, implementación, lanzamiento, promoción y seguimiento de nuevos productos y/o modalidades de créditos personales.
  • Soporte para la implementación de estrategias y promociones respecto a la colocación, originación, portafolio y cobranza de Créditos Personales.
  • Seguimiento a las estrategias de riesgo del producto
  • Control, actualización e implantación de normas, estándares, procesos, convenios de servicio, reglamentos y contratos relacionados con el producto
  • Diseño y obtención de indicadores y métricas del producto.
  • Medición y seguimiento de estrategias establecidas
  • Seguimiento a issues, dar la correcta solución a los problemas tecnológicos, administrativos o de procesos .
  • Detectar áreas de oportunidad y proponer mejoras a los productos existentes
  • Seguimiento, implementación y correcta ejecución de los controles y procesos de los riesgos declarados en la matriz de PRC-MCA.
