MIS Execution Leader

This is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the execution and delivery of Management Information Systems (MIS) for a large user base of 100+ users. The primary objective is to lead a team of analysts and developers to deliver accurate, timely, and insightful MIS in a complex environment utilizing SAS, Python, databases, and Tableau. This individual will be a strategic leader, responsible for managing stakeholder relationships, driving process improvements, and ensuring the successful delivery of all MIS initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of MIS professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- MIS Execution: Oversee the end-to-end execution of all MIS deliverables, from requirements gathering to final delivery, ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with senior stakeholders, understanding their needs and ensuring that the MIS team is delivering value to the business.
- Technology and Environment: Provide technical leadership and guidance in a SAS-Python/Database/Tableau environment, ensuring that the team is using the right tools and technologies to meet business needs.
- Process Improvement: Drive process improvements and automation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the MIS function.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the MIS function, aligning with business goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 12+ years of experience in MIS or a related field, with a proven track record of leading teams and managing MIS executions for a large user base.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Technical Expertise: A strong understanding of the technologies used in the MIS environment, including SAS, Python, SQL databases, and Tableau. While hands-on expertise is not required in all areas, a strong conceptual understanding is essential.
- Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and align with business priorities.
- Communication and Influence: Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships and drive change at all levels of the organization.
Education:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or Statistics is required.
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master's degree preferred
