The Business Execution Analyst (C11) is a developing professional role responsible for supporting key project goals, driving execution excellence, and enabling data-driven decision-making within the Business Execution function. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, advanced Excel proficiency, and the ability to work with large and complex data sets. The Analyst works independently on routine tasks, supports moderately complex deliverables, and collaborates closely with Team members, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
The role requires attention to detail, structured problem-solving, clear communication, and the ability to translate data insights into meaningful business recommendations.
Project & Process Support
- Support project planning, tracking, and reporting in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Maintain project trackers, status updates, and associated documentation.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and critical path items.
- Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, support mitigation planning.
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and review materials for senior leadership.
Data & Reporting
- Work with large data sets to prepare and analyze reports, dashboards, and business insights.
- Perform variance analysis, trend analysis, and Business performance monitoring.
- Run standard and ad-hoc reports with a high degree of accuracy.
- Break down information into clear, actionable summaries for stakeholders.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant reporting in alignment with business and regulatory expectations.
Stakeholder Management
- Communicate project expectations and updates clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on a regular basis.
- Support project managers and senior stakeholders with data-driven insights.
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the team by proactively identifying improvement opportunities.
Governance & Risk
- Apply sound judgment while analyzing issues, escalating risks, and ensuring transparency.
- Maintain compliance with Citi policies, procedures, and control frameworks.
- Support root-cause analysis and control gap identification when required.
- Perform Maker-Checker, setup-controlled analysis and maintain documentation for Audit
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in bank services.
- Ability to work with large, complex data sets.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Experience preparing management reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Advanced Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, Lookups, Formulas, Data Cleaning etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Experience in variance analysis, MIS reporting, or business performance analytics
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts as well as deal effectively with senior leaders from all functional backgrounds on all aspects of business operations.
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. (CA/MBA/Equivalent preferred).
