AEM Content Author - Vice President

The AEM Content Author is responsible for creating, editing, publishing, and managing digital content within the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform. This role ensures that content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligns with brand guidelines and digital strategy, ultimately contributing to a positive user experience.
Responsibilities:
Content Management & Publishing
- Author, edit, and publish engaging and accurate digital content (text, images, video, documents, etc.) using AEM components and templates.
- Ensure all content adheres to established brand voice, style guides, legal requirements, and accessibility standards.
- Manage content workflows, including content creation, review, translation (if applicable), approval, and publication processes within AEM.
- Conduct regular content audits to ensure accuracy, relevance, and removal of outdated material.
- Collaborate with design, development, SEO, and marketing teams to ensure content is optimized for search engines, user experience, and overall digital performance.
- Utilize AEM's personalization features to deliver targeted content experiences to different user segments.
AEM Platform Utilization
- Proficiently use AEM features such as Sites, Assets, Experience Fragments, Content Fragments, Workflows, and Launches.
- Understand and apply AEM component functionalities, page properties, and template structures effectively.
- Troubleshoot basic content display issues within AEM and coordinate with development teams for resolution of more complex problems.
- Maintain a strong understanding of AEM best practices for content authoring and management.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with marketing managers, product owners, UX designers, and developers to understand content requirements and deliver solutions.
- Participate in content strategy discussions, providing insights on content effectiveness and potential improvements within AEM.
- Provide training and support to other content contributors on AEM authoring processes and guidelines as needed.
Quality Assurance
- Perform thorough quality checks of content before publication, including proofreading, link validation, and cross-browser compatibility checks.
- Ensure content meets technical SEO requirements and performance standards.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of proven experience as a Content Author or similar role, with at least 3 years specifically working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Demonstrable expertise in using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) for content authoring and management.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic understanding of web technologies.
- Experience with digital asset management (DAM) within AEM.
- Understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to content.
- Experience with other Adobe Marketing Cloud products (e.g., Analytics, Target) is a plus.
- Ability to work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
Education:
- Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Information Technology, or a related field.
